1. How to Crack Assertion-Reason Questions Every Time

An Assertion-Reason question has two statements: Assertion (A) and Reason (R). Follow this strict 3-step algorithm:

1. Step 1 (Verify Truth Independently): Read (A) alone and check if it is true or false. Then read (R) alone and check if it is true or false. If either is false, you immediately have your answer (Option C or D)!
2. Step 2 (The "Because" Connector Test): If both (A) and (R) are true, read them together joined by the word "BECAUSE": "[Assertion A] BECAUSE [Reason R]."
3. Step 3 (Decide A vs B): If (R) is the direct scientific/mathematical cause of (A), select Option A. If both are true facts from the same chapter but (R) does not explain why (A) happens, select Option B.
