1. About AlphaGrad AI

AlphaGrad AI ("Platform", "We", "Us", or "Our") is an AI-powered educational technology platform operated by AlphaGrad AI (a brand of NovaxAI), registered in India. Our platform provides AI-based tutoring, test generation, study tools, live/recorded batch courses, career guidance, and community features for students across India.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the AlphaGrad AI platform (including the website, mobile application, AI Tutor, batch courses, test generator, or any other service), you ("User", "Student") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies published on this platform.

If you are under the age of 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform immediately.

3. User Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account with others or allow others to access your account.
• AlphaGrad AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be sharing access or violating these terms.
• You must notify us immediately at support@novaxai.in if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• One account per individual student only. Multiple accounts are not permitted.

4. Courses, Batches & Content

4.1 Free Batches

The Class 9th Master Batch and Class 10th Board Master Batch are provided completely free of charge to all registered students. Access may be revoked if a student violates community guidelines or these terms.

4.2 Paid Batches & Courses

Paid batches (such as Skills & AI Master Batch) require a one-time or recurring payment as described at the time of purchase. Access is granted to the individual purchaser only and is non-transferable.

4.3 AI-Generated Content

Our platform uses artificial intelligence to generate tests, worksheets, notes, flashcards, and study plans. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Students should use AI-generated content as a supplement to, not a replacement for, verified educational materials.

4.4 Content Availability

We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove course content at any time without prior notice. AlphaGrad AI does not guarantee the continuous availability of any specific content or feature.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All content on AlphaGrad AI — including but not limited to video lectures, notes, test questions, worksheets, AI outputs, branding, logos, course materials, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of AlphaGrad AI or its licensed content providers and is protected under Indian copyright law and international intellectual property treaties.

• Downloading, recording, or screen-capturing video lectures is strictly prohibited. We use technical measures including DRM (Digital Rights Management), watermarking, and encrypted streaming to protect content.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, or commercialize any platform content without express written permission from AlphaGrad AI.
• Any unauthorized use of AlphaGrad AI content may result in immediate account termination and legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
• AI-generated content produced using our tools is owned by AlphaGrad AI but licensed to you for personal educational use only.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Download, record, capture screenshots, or reproduce video lectures or course materials.
• Share your account credentials, login link, or course access with any third party.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our platform or AI models.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the platform.
• Upload or share any harmful, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or illegal content in community forums.
• Impersonate any person, including AlphaGrad AI staff, teachers, or other students.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, access other users' data, or disrupt platform services.
• Use platform content or AI-generated material for commercial purposes without written consent.
• Engage in academic dishonesty or fraud using platform-generated materials.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, forfeiture of any paid subscriptions without refund, and/or legal proceedings.

7. Payment & Refund Policy

7.1 Payments

All payments are processed securely. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. AlphaGrad AI reserves the right to change pricing at any time, with notice provided to existing subscribers.

7.2 Refund Policy

Refund requests for paid batches/courses may be submitted within 7 days of purchase, provided that less than 20% of the course content has been accessed. Refund requests must be submitted via email to support@novaxai.in with your order ID. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

Refunds will NOT be granted if:

• More than 7 days have passed since the purchase date.
• More than 20% of course content has been accessed.
• The account has been terminated due to policy violations.
• The purchase was made during a promotional or discounted period marked as "non-refundable".

8. Skill Completion Certificates

AlphaGrad AI issues digital Skill Completion Certificates upon meeting the completion criteria for eligible courses (typically completing all lectures, assessments, and projects). Certificates feature unique verification codes and are issued in the name of the enrolled student only. Certificates are for personal, educational, and professional portfolio use. AlphaGrad AI makes no guarantees regarding the acceptance of our certificates by any university, employer, or institution.

9. Community Guidelines

The AlphaGrad AI Community is a space for students to learn, ask questions, and grow together. Community posts and questions are automatically deleted after 30 days to maintain a clean, relevant knowledge base. Users must:

• Be respectful and constructive in all interactions.
• Not post spam, promotional content, or irrelevant links.
• Not post any content that violates copyright, is offensive, or is discriminatory.
• Not impersonate administrators, teachers, or other students.

AlphaGrad AI moderators reserve the right to remove any community post, comment, or user that violates these guidelines.

10. Privacy Policy

10.1 Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use our platform:

• Account data: Name, email address, profile photo, class, board, target exam.
• Usage data: Study sessions, test attempts, AI conversations, course progress, XP, and streaks.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, device type (for security and performance).
• Payment data: Processed securely via third-party payment gateways. We do not store card details.

10.2 How We Use Your Data

• To personalize AI tutoring, study plans, and recommendations.
• To generate performance analytics and leaderboard rankings.
• To send important notifications about your courses and account.
• To improve the platform and train our AI systems (anonymized data only).
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

10.3 Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research or analytics. We may share data with service providers (e.g., Firebase, Cloudflare, Neon Database) solely for operating the platform under strict data processing agreements.

10.4 Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. Community posts are automatically deleted after 30 days. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@novaxai.in. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

10.5 Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the platform. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

10.6 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure authentication via Firebase, and encrypted database connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The AlphaGrad AI platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be 100% accurate. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AlphaGrad AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or exam performance outcomes. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage you to contact us first at support@novaxai.in to resolve any disputes amicably before initiating legal proceedings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or platform notification at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
